This fantastic 3+3Wide Drawer Chest belongs to the traditional soft wood Boston  range, it is a beautiful & elegant piece of wood, the item itself comes flat packed in 1 box with easy self assembly instructions.

  Solid wood parts are made from Oriental Songwood, a prolific species of softwood of the pine family found in Southern China  where it is crop grown for sustainability.
Panels are made of Ash veneered plywood.
Carcase; 9mm Ash veneered plywood with solid songwood framing with mortise & tennon joints.
Assembly fittings; wood dowels, screws, glue & panel pins.    
Drawers; 18mm solid wood drawer fronts, 12mm solid Paulomia drawer sides &  3.6mm plywood baseboard.
Drawer runners; solid wood.
Shelves; plywood with solid wood trim.
Hardware; solid metal antique jappanned effect handles.

A balancing stain is applied by hand to even out the natural wood variation’s, this is followed by a dark lacquer. A further fine hand sanding process is followed by 2 further coats of semi gloss dark lacquer.
